Alice Helen Jones Maitland, 59, of Willacoochee, Georgia, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Highlands Cashiers in Highlands, North Carolina.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, in Coffee County, Georgia, with the Rev. Emily Hotho officiating.
Mrs. Maitland was born June 9, 1965, in Tarrytown, New York, to the Alice Klouda Jones & the late Robert Jones. She was a homemaker and was married to the love of her life for 25 years. Mrs. Maitland was a wonderful wife, mom, and grandmother, who was family oriented and selfless. She was very smart, she loved to read, was the family historian and had the best taste in music.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Doug Maitland of Willacoochee; children: Torie Jones Slonim & Matt and Haley Maitland & Charles North, and a grandchild, Sawyer Slonim.
