Louis Jacques Destin (60) of Brockton died January 14th in the West Newton Healthcare Nursing Home. He was the husband of Alexa Destin of Haiti.
He was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, the son of the late Dejoie Destin and Melanie (Joseph) Destin. Louis worked in the transportation industry as a truck driver and enjoyed playing cards, being outdoors and socializing with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 daughters, Jasmine Destin of Dominican Republic, Lovely Destin and Mirlene Destin both of Haiti, (father of the late Simpson Destin), 4 brothers, Louis Jean Destin and Dieusel Destin both of New York, Prosper Destin and Gerald Destin both of Boston, 2 sisters, Marie Claudette Destin of Canada and Mary Sonie Destin of New York, (brother of the late Waslin Destin, Dicarmel Destin, Jean Wesner Destin, Mary Eddit, Laurante Destin and Mary Fefe Destin), many grandchildren.
Funeral Services in the Temple Salem Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 222 Woodrow Avenue, Boston Sunday February 2nd at 9 am. Burial to be held privately.
