Joanne Marie (Gregarick) Malone, 91, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025 in Worcester. She was born in Webster, the daughter of Michael and Magdalen Bonneau Gregarick. She graduated from St Louis High School. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Malone, her daughter, Melissa Malone, and her two brothers, Michael, and Anthony Gregarick. She leaves six children, Brenda McGinnes (Robin), Deborah Chapin (Christopher), Donald Malone (Jeanne), Susan St. John (John), Daniel Malone, Brian Malone, twelve grandchildren, Shawnna, Katie, Tim, Ryan, Joe, Tyler, Dane, Peter, Hannah, Colin, Annika, Ian and seven great-grandchildren.
Joanne led a full life, touching the hearts of many and making many cherished friends over the years. She retired from the US Postal Service. She was most proud of being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, instilling a strong family bond. She cherished family gatherings, celebrating birthdays, holidays and life. She loved the outdoors, especially camping at Nickerson. Always ready to adventure, she traveled from Alaska to Hawaii, Norway and England. She volunteered at church, school and for those in need. She loved playing cards, never missed a trick, with pitch being her favorite game. Her cats provided comfort and joy. Her strong faith guided her life journey.
Her funeral is Wednesday, January 29th with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 194 Oxford Street North, Auburn followed by burial in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
