CHICOPEE – John Ray Wilson, 75, of Chicopee passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 23, 2025. He was born in Waltham on June 3, 1949, a beloved son of the late Evelyn May (Balboni) Wilson. He was raised in Chicopee and lived in the city for most of his life. During his leisure time, John enjoyed the Opera. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He leaves his dear brothers and sisters, George T. Wilson and his wife, Judy, of South Hadley, Bonnie M. Klement of Georgia, Nancy J. McCarthy and her husband, Pete, of Parlin, NJ, Kenneth A. Wilson and his wife, Sheryl, of Saint Charles, MO, Tina M. Hamel and her husband, Roger, of Chicopee, and Robert R. Wilson and his wife, Debbie, of Batavia, NY; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family members.
