Frank Decosta Lucas Jr passed away unexpectedly on November 24th of 2024, and is survived by his parents Frank Sr and Patricia Anne, his wife Robin Lucas, their daughters Chantina and her partner Joe, Siobhon her partner Ferdy and their son Ivan, Allana and her partner Zach, as well as his brother Michael and his wife Janet, his sister Diahanne and his nieces and nephews Corey, Renee, Wilson Jr., and Kharis.
Frank Jr was born September 6th, 1958 as the eldest child to Frank Sr and Patricia Ann Lucas. Frank was a creative and talented child who enjoyed taking things apart to learn how they worked. He was raised in Sharon and Sudbury Massachusetts, graduated from Lincoln Sudbury High School in 1977, and went on to attend college at the Wentworth Institute of Technology and the University of Boston. Frank was an accomplished cyclist, a New England Criterium Champion and went to the Olympic trials and was the founder and publisher of Race New England. Frank worked for various telecommunications over the years including Dex Media, Supermedia, and Nynex.
In his later life, he reconnected with his high school sweetheart Robin, and they wed in 2016. They later bought a house together in Millis Massachusetts and he spent much of the last few years of life with his family, and enjoyed his time as a grandfather.
Frank is remembered as a kind, generous, and compassionate person. He was incredibly talented in sketching, painting, and fixing appliances, cars, and other electronics and was always willing to extend a helping hand to someone who needed it. He made friends everywhere he went and was well liked and well loved. A celebration of his life will be celebrated in early spring, details to be updated at a later time.
