HOLYOKE ~ Jeffrey P. Belanger, 68, of Holyoke and a former longtime resident of Chicopee Falls, was Called Safely Home on Monday, January 20, 2025. He passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Springfield on January 7, 1957 and was raised in Chicopee Falls. He was employed for many years as a Tractor Trailer Driver for several of the trucking companies in the area. During his leisure time, Jeff enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing and flea markets. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He was predeceased by his loving mother and step-father, Lorraine (Belanger) Bunnell and Ronald Bunnell; his cherished daughter, Sarah Yvonne (Belanger) Platt; and his three dear brothers, Leonard Rainville, Eugene Rainville and George Rainville. He leaves his loving children, Kevin P. Belanger and his wife, Gina, of Warren, and Megan A. Davis and her husband, Nathan, of Chicopee, his 12 cherished grandchildren, Meadow, Autumn, Brooke and Hunter Belanger, Morgan Ribeiro, Savannah Davis and Nathan Davis, and Justin Landry and his partner, Nairobi Colon, Kyle Landry, Kaleb Platt, Ashlynne Platt and Kailynne Platt; his cherished great-grandson, Mateo Landry-Colon; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. His funeral and burial will be held at the convenience of his family. There are no visiting hours.
