Dorothy (Grahn) M. Lincourt, a resident of Franklin for over 60 years, formerly of Baldwinville, MA, passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 85.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, Wilho and Lillian (Herbert) Grahn, her husband Paul J. Lincourt and her sister Judith Hauss.
Dorothy met her husband and love of her life Paul in Boston and they married in September of 1960. They spent over 35 years together prior to his passing in 1996. She had many important jobs she loved, including beautician, homemaker, professional drapery maker, store manager, floral assistant, receptionist and she worked many years for the local Girl Scouts. But most importantly a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She had many talents including quilting, knitting, ceramics, crafter, gardening with a serious green thumb, seamstress and DIY’er. She preferred to dress nice, even for a quick trip to the store. You would rarely find a hair out of place and her nails were always nicely manicured. Dorothy was a classy lady who’s hair was of natural color and never completely turned gray.
Dorothy leaves behind cherished memories with her daughter Deborah Lincourt and her life partner Ken Murray of Middlefield, MA, son and daughter-in-law Steven and Ellen Lincourt of Bellingham, MA, her grand-daughter and her husband Amanda & Brian Heno of Uxbridge, MA, her grand-son James Walker, Jr. of Astoria, NY and her two precious great-grandchildren Harper and Hunter Heno. She will be greatly missed by all.
Dorothy’s family extend their thanks and appreciation for the care, support and compassion provided by the Salmon Health Hospice team over the past few months.
No services will be held at this time.
The Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. is honored to assist the Lincourt family.
