Ann Marie Selfridge, 88, of Manchester, NH, passed away Thursday January 23, 2025 in Elliot Hospital, Manchester surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 30, 1936, in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late John and Alice (Coughlin) Cafiso. Ann was a resident of NH and formerly lived in St. Augustine, FL, Londonderry, NH and was a longtime resident of Westford, MA.
Ann graduated from Chelmsford High School, Class of 1954. She worked for Sentry Insurance for 18 years, retiring in 1996. She later worked for 18 years at Market Basket. Ann was a member of the Ladies Elks. When her family was younger, Ann was a Brownie Leader as well as a Cub Scout Den Mother in Westford, MA. In her later years, Ann was an active member of the Nevins Community in Londonderry.
She is survived by two sons, Robert and his wife Susan, Paul and his wife Angela as well as a daughter, Marilyn, 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, Robert P. Selfridge on April 13, 2024. She was also predeceased by a grandson.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, Ann will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Robert on Wednesday February 5, 2025 at 11:00am in the Chapel at the NH State Veteran’s Cemetery,110 DW Highway, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to a charity of your choice.
