Irene T. "Sally" (Britton) Livingston-Denn, a 10-year resident of Hudson, New Hampshire and formerly of Charlestown, Rockland and Weymouth, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimac, New Hampshire. She was 84 years of age.
Sally was born in Boston on March 8, 1940, a daughter of the late Herbert Britton and Josephine L. (Collins) Britton-Stone. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School. Sally was a homemaker most of her adult life where she dedicated herself to caring for her family. She enjoyed spending time in her backyard alongside her pool. She enjoyed decorating especially during the Christmas season. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved husband George at Sebago Lake in Maine camping for many years. She especially loved raising her great-granddaughter Jenna for the last 20 years.
Sally is the beloved wife of the late George L. Denn. She is the devoted mother of the late Bobby Livingston. She is the loving grandmother of the late Stephen Livingston and is the devoted great-grandmother to Jenna Livingston. She is the beloved stepmother to David Denn, Kathy Denn, James Denn and the late George Denn Jr. and was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to the extended Denn family. She is the beloved sister of Roger Britton and his wife Margaret, Helen O'Donnell, Beverly Gallagher and the late Martha Dwyer, Herbert Stone and Robert Stone. She is the loving Godmother to Marty Kane and is survived by her many other loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sally's visiting hours on Saturday morning, FEBRUARY 1, 2025, from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 12 Noon. Her burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
