Timothy J. LeBlanc of Groveland, MA, formerly Plainville, MA, passed away January 18, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Laurie (LeClair) LeBlanc, and his sons Steven LeBlanc of Orlando, Florida and Matt LeBlanc of New Haven, Connecticut. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in law Steve and Barb LeClair, his nieces and nephews Renee and Chris McCarthy, Jackie and Steve Van Dyne, Michael and Sarah LeClair along with his great nieces and nephews Sophie, Ian and Evie McCarthy; Nick and Emily Van Dyne.
Tim graduated from ITT Tech and began his career with DataProducts working as a sales engineer. While he worked for other companies over the years, he went back to DataProducts which then became Hitachi and finally Ricoh.
Growing up, Tim was a NASA enthusiast. His parents were told to keep him home on launch days because he paid no attention in school. Being able to witness a launch was one of his greatest joys. He made exact replica models of space vehicles over his lifetime. He was a perfectionist in all that he did—restoring antique radios and record players, building train tables, and building and designing models of all kinds.
Tim’s work life was cut short by a brain aneurysm at age 48 resulting in memory loss. His time at Krempels Brain Injury Center was a very important time in his life where he made friends and learned how to live his “new normal”. Krempels was a lifeline during a very difficult time and enriched his life tremendously.
