June A. (Demeule) Dupuis, 83, of Monson, a former resident of Salem, died Sunday, January 19, 2025 at the Bay State Wing Hospital in Palmer, following a long illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry R. Dupuis, Sr., with whom she had shared 47 years of marriage.
Born in Salem and raised in Beverly she was the daughter of the late Leo and Jacqueline (Morin) Demeule. June was employed by Sylvania in Danvers prior to and into the early years of her marriage to Henry. She was devoted to her husband, their young family and her large extended family. As the children progressed in age she worked part time for Intercity Homemaking Company until her retirement.
June was a quiet home and family loving woman who enjoyed knitting, television and the occasional night out for bingo. She was a long time member of Ste. Anne Parish of Salem.
She is survived by her three sons, Leo S. Dupuis of Barrington, NH, Henry R. “Bob” Dupuis, Jr. of Rochester, NH, Michael R. Dupuis and wife Deborah of Monson, MA, daughter Denise A. Wells and husband Paul of Salem, and her sister, Joan Padgett, of Salem. She also leaves her grandchildren, Jennifer, John, Justin and Julia Borden, Amanda, Brittany & Cory Dupuis, Kayla & Devan Dupuis, seven great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Judith A. Borden and brother Leo Demeule, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem, on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 11:30 AM.
