The family of Cara Ann Fay Parker is saddened to announce her death on January 15th, 2025, at her home
in Milton, MA after a year-long battle with breast cancer.
Born in Milton, she was the daughter of Lawrence T. Fay and Patricia (Tringali) Fay. Beloved sister of Ian of
Somerville. Cara is survived by her cat, Pumpkin.
Cara was a graduate of Milton High School, class of 1997. She lived a life of service and compassion, which
began with Americorps. Cara’s ability to lead, direct, manage, and organize served her well at Campfire USA,
Kids are People, LA Burdick, Sugarfina, and The Thinking Cup, where she held leadership roles in the
organizations.
Cara loved cooking, travelling, and creating art, inheriting her artistic skills from her mother. Above all, Cara
loved her family and her cat.
A celebration of life will be held on January 25th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at 31 Manhattan Ave, Fairhaven.
In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that donations be made on behalf of Cara Fay Parker to The Ellie Fund, an
organization which provided invaluable assistance to Cara during her difficult journey with breast cancer by
providing home services and meeting other non-medical support needs. https://www.elliefund.org/
