WEBSTER – Jozefa (Kaminska) Osowska, 93, died Monday, January 20, 2025 in Hartford Hospital. Her husband of 48 years, Stanislaw Osowski, died in 1997.
She leaves 2 sons, Jozef Osowski of Webster, and Tadeusz Osowski and his wife Beata of Oxford; 2 daughters, Celina Ruszczyk in Poland and Elzbieta Biedrzycki of Dudley; 11 grandchildren, Sylwia Lipka, Mariusz Ruszczyk, Dariusz Gawrych, Wojciech Osowski, Marcin Gawrych, Jarek Osowski, Daniel Osowski, Anita Osowska, Marek Osowski, Marlena Osowski and Wioletta Osowska; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marianna Drezek in Poland; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, Stanislaw, Janek and Zdzislaw Osowski, by 4 brothers, Jozef, Jan, Antoni and Henryk Kaminski, and by a sister Zofia Kaminska.
She was born on March 19, 1931 in Kuzie, Poland, a daughter of Teofil and Wiktoria (Nadolna) Kaminski and was raised there. She came to the United States in 1997.
Mrs. Osowska and her husband owned and operated a farm in Poland.
She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica. She enjoyed cooking Polish food for her family, particularly on the holidays. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, January 28, from the Sitkowski Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
