Joan Sandra “Sandy” (Raymond) Elliott, age 77, passed away on January 18, 2025 at the UMass Medical Center in Worcester. She was born on July 14, 1947 in Holyoke, daughter of the late Arthur Z. Raymond and Rita (Bordeau) Raymond. Sandy worked as a school custodian for the local elementary schools for many years before she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips to the casinos. She is predeceased by her first husband, Johnny F. Elliott and three brothers, James, Donald and Arnold Raymond. She is survived by two sons, Brian Elliott of San Antonio, TX and Michael Elliott and his wife Tracey of Chicopee; one daughter, Tonya Schroth and her husband Marc of Chicopee; her fiancé Richard Fleming of Chicopee; two sisters, Cynthia Curran of Chicopee, Robin Tetrault and her husband Charles of Chicopee; five grandchildren, Vanessa Elliott and her spouse Jon, Alexis Santiago and her spouse Charlie, Tristan Elliott and his spouse Elise, Kendra Elliott and her partner Chai and Aiden Schroth; four great grandchildren, Jon Diaz, Elan Nunez, Micah Nunez and Sophia Diaz along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will take place at a later date.
