Marilyn “Molly” (Robbins) Mars, age 98, passed away on January 19, 2025 at the Agawam South Rehab and Nursing Home. She was born on January 15, 1927, daughter of the late James W. Robbins and Edith (Gulow) Robbins. She worked as a hairdresser for many years before she retired. She was an artist who enjoyed oil paintings and was very talented at braiding rugs, which she did throughout her whole life. In her earlier years she enjoyed bowling, skiing, camping, going on cruises, playing bingo and taking trips to the casino. She also loved baking and was known for her homemade bread. She is predeceased by her husband of 77 years whom she had met at the age of 16, Roger Mars, who passed away in 2021 and also by her beloved son Kevin Mars and two sisters. She is survived by 4 sons, James Mars and his wife Lonna of Hartland, WI, Dr. David Mars and his wife Karen of San Anselmo, CA, Donald Mars of Ludlow and Alan Mars and his wife Beverly of Chicopee; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and also many great-great grandchildren along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
