BIDDEFORD - Jacqueline “Jackie” Elaine Tapley, aged 60, peacefully passed away on January 20, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on September 14, 1964, to parents Phillip and Celia Tapley.
Jackie had the privilege of residing in various regions of the United States, including Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Florida. In 1996, she made the decision to make Biddeford, Maine as her family's permanent residence.
Jackie had a deep affection for felines and had numerous companions over the years. During her moments of solitude, Jackie could often be found engrossed in a jigsaw puzzle, immersed in a book, or enjoying her favorite cooking shows or Wheel of Fortune. Although she modestly claimed she "couldn't cook, but it always looked nice." Jackie also cherished spending quality time with her family and close companions “Mike Talley & Paul Foran”
Jackie is survived by her two children - Daughter Janine Parker & son Daniel Gomez, along with their spouses Kevin Parker and Fallon Ames; brother Mike Tapley, sisters Barbara “Bobbie” Tapley, and Dami Berberich.
She shared a special bond with each of her four grandchildren Julianna Pennell, Charleigh Gomez, Mateo Gomez, and Rosabella Parker.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday Feb. 6th from 3 - 5 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
