Janice M. Allosso Kalmes, of Woburn, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, January 18, 2025. She was 78 years old. Janice was predeceased by her husbands, Patrick J. Allosso, and David R. Kalmes.

Born in Medford, Massachusetts and raised in Arlington, Massachusetts, Janice was the daughter of the late Nicholas R. Sacca, Sr. and Josephine (Pennino) Sacca. She graduated from Arlington High School and Robert and Richards Beauty School. Janice worked as a hairdresser and later at Mellon Bank as a data processing supervisor. She adored watching her grandchildren grow up and loved attending all of their activities. Janice was very creative and artistic. Her hobbies included cake decorating, flower arranging, and crafts. She loved hosting family gatherings, especially Easter and Christmas. In the warmer months, Janice enjoyed serving dishes she and David cooked with vegetables from his home garden.
