Agnes "Ginger" (Leonard) Bradley, 80, of Middleborough, formerly of Abington and Quincy, passed away unexpectedly on January 18th, surrounded by her sons.
Predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, William "Bill" Bradley, Ginger leaves behind a large and loving family to reunite with him. She is survived by her cherished sons: Michael and partner Helen of Taunton, Stephen and wife Kristin of Hopkinton, John and wife Jill of Whitman, Matthew and wife Katie of Middleborough.
Ginger will be forever remembered by her ten adoring grandchildren: Josh, Owen, Ryan, Shane, Olivia, Mason, Brooke, Cameron, Mackenzie, and Ben.
She is also survived by her brother, Jack of Ipswich, and her sister, Marie of Harwich, and their respective families.
Ginger was so much more than a mother and homemaker. She graduated from Quincy High School in 1961. In 1967, she met the love of her life, Bill Bradley, and so began a long beautiful life together. They raised four sons on Peregrine Road in Abington, where Ginger's warm and welcoming nature made their home a gathering place for friends and family.
Ginger's kindness touched the lives of many. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, making every outing an adventure. She also found fulfillment in her work, including years of dedicated service with Catholic Charities.
After their sons grew up and started their own families, Bill and Ginger moved to Oak Point in Middleborough to enjoy their golden years. Ginger cherished her time with family and friends, often entertaining guests with her warm hospitality, witty remarks, plenty of food and Raspberry Ginger ale. When not enjoying company, she could be found crocheting, immersed in a good book, or playing games while enjoying her coffee.
Please join us in celebrating the life of this incredibly strong and caring woman. Calling hours will be held at Blanchard Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 24th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th, at 10:30 AM at Holy Ghost Church in Whitman.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ginger's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
