Diane E. (Vincent) Giordano, age 78, of Attleboro, formerly of Norton, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Born in Worcester, MA on March 30, 1946, she was a loving daughter of the late George J. "Red" and Elouise M.(McClure) Vincent.
Diane grew up and was educated in Whitinsville. She continued her studies, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Bridgewater State College and later she proudly received her Master’s Degree in Education at Cambridge College.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Giordano was extremely dedicated to her job and to her students as a Science Teacher for many years at the Norton Middle School. She had made her home in Attleboro for the past twenty-three years, formerly residing in Norton and was a former member of the League of Women’s Voters in Norton.
Diane’s favorite times were those spent in the presence of her loving and adoring family. She loved traveling and was proud to have accomplished seven Continents by the age 70 and enjoyed attending plays and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Diane also had a special place in her heart for nature, especially spending times and creating beautiful memories in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Elizabeth A. Sousa and her husband Ricardo of Newton, Lisa M. Powers and her husband Don of Wrentham and Julie H. Giordano of Weymouth. She was the cherished grandmother of Olivia, Dylan, Meghan, Grace and Gavin. She was the dear sister of Paul G. Vincent and his wife Linda of Whitinsville, the late Deborah J. Delisio and was the loving aunt of Andrea, Joseph, Scott, Amy, Steven, Andrew and Robert.
Services will be held privately and visiting hours are omitted.
