Obituary

Robert Allen Forknall a resident of Brockton MA who was born in Dorchester MA April 26, 1948 passed away peacefully in his sleep December 28th after his battle Cancer.

The son of the late Reginald and Beatrice Forknall as well as his late brother Ronald Forknall and his late wife Beverly Forknall. Robert started working construction at age 19 then became a purchasing manager at Robert-Scotts and David-Brooks where he worked hard for many years and made sure his children were always provided for.

Robert also worked with his friend and business partner Ricky at a taxi company they opened in Randolph MA as well as driving trucks with one of his best friends Mark "Misha" Katzeff. He is survived by his 3 children, Lisa Marie Forknall, Christopher Forknall-Minichiello, and Jenee Forknall-Minichiello. He is also survived by his grandchildren Leila Ayasha Forknall, Josiah Johnathan Isiah Monteiro, and Gianna Minichiello. In addition he is survived by his ex wife Maureen Forknall, his nephew Ronald "Kyle" Forknall, niece's Jacqueline Forknall-Rego and her husband Paul, and Deidre Forknall, his great nephew Nicholas Rego, great niece's Haleigh Rego, Amelia Rocha and her father Darvie Rocha and his late wife/Robert's niece Jennifer D. Forknall-Rocha and his late brother's wife Norma Forknall. He loved his children, grandchildren, family, and friends unconditionally.

Robert had a big heart and donated to several children at St. Jude's Hospital for children with Cancer and The Boys Town for many years up until he passed away. He loved his congregation and going to events especially Shabbat which is run by his very dear friend and Rabbi Henry M. Morse along with his wife and family. Robert absolutely loved going there, learning scriptures, seeing all the kids dancing, singing/playing tambourine along with his good friends there Georgette, Carmen, Matt Marble and his wife Leah Marble along with all the members of the congregation. He cherished every moment.

Robert also survived by his family friends and neighbors Carmen, Carlos, and their daughter Caia Andrade and Suzie. Robert loved Nascar racing as well as golfing, was a huge Boston sport fan, enjoyed collecting and selling every type of sport cards, he cherished his Bible and read it every night before bed, loved watching the show "The chosen" with his daughter Lisa every weekend, he enjoyed baking/cooking especially for his neighbors/congregation, he loved comedy, he also loved music, especially the violin, piano along with Motown, blues, as well as current music,he played the drums in his youth, he loved writing poetry, he liked to draw/sketch and would always draw cute little bunnies for his grandchildren whom were so precious to him.

Robert's memorial for family and friends with be on Sunday January, 26th 2025 at the Sha'arhashamaya. Congregation at 2 Canton Street Stoughton MA suite A21 (also known as The Triside Plaza) at 1pm. The front door will be open and follow the staircase up to the 2nd floor and first door on the right.
