Ralph Harry Johnson

Ralph Harry Johnson, age 86 of Lake Road, died peacefully on January 14, 2025 surrounded
by his loving family.
He was the devoted husband of the late Ellen (Bell) Johnson with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Lynn, MA, he was the son of the late Harry & Florence (Danby) Johnson and brother to Robert & June Johnson of Lake Placid, FL. and the late Paul & Sheila Johnson. Beloved brother in law to the late Ralph & Alice (Bell) Brown.
He attended Lynn schools and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1956 where he was captain of the varsity hockey team.
Ralph was a retired member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 17. He worked at Charles P. Blouin Co for 35 years.
Upon retirement, he relocated to Wakefield NH in 2000. Ralph enjoyed bass fishing, wildlife and spending time with his grandchildren and family at Pine River Pond.
Ralph is survived by 3 children: Scott S. Johnson and his wife, Barbara of Salem NH, Bonnie L. Moreschi and her husband, Stephen of Peabody, MA and Linda A. Gauvain and her husband, Mark of Peabody MA.
He was fondly known as “Ampy” to his grandchildren: Mark and partner Shawn, Christopher and partner Jessica, Shawn and wife Salma, Melissa and husband Ryan, Deanna and husband Jamie, Derek and partner Harrison, Dean and fiancé Paula , Bryan, Kyle, Brett, Jessica & the late Adam & Hailey. He is also survived by 2 great grandsons, Jackson & Brooks Kuchova, several nieces and nephews and dear friend, Mary Cook, of Wakefield NH. He was predeceased by his beloved dog, Randi.
