Aline Parker, 77, of Tifton died Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2006, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. A. C. Connell and Rev. Lee Connell will officiate with burial to follow in Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Wendel Horton, Steve Parker, Michael Kennedy, Allen Bennett, Gary Parker, Jimmy Parker, Jr., Theo Parker will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of New River Holiness Church. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Miss Parker was born on July 12, 1929 and was the daughter of Sherman H. Parker, Sr. and Odessa Goddard Parker, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Lee Parker, and one sister, Lois Holt. She was retired from Avondale Mills and was a member of New River Holiness Church.
Miss Parker is survived by two brothers, Sherman Parker, Jr. of Poulan and Harlie Parker of Poulan; and one sister, Dessie Bennett of Tifton.
