ANDOVER ---- Wyatt Matthew Carleton, 17, passed away tragically in a car accident, on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Wyatt was born on September 21, 2007, in Laconia, the son of Jim and Crystal (Cole) Carleton.
He enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hiking and swimming, but was most passionate about skiing. He felt most at home and free on the slopes. He loved spending time with friends and family and going to Disney. He also had a love for baseball, which he played for over ten years. When not on the slopes, you could often find Wyatt playing racing games, sleeping in, or frequenting Taco Bell. He was a thrill seeker, a dare devil and an adventurer.
Wyatt had a heart as big as the world, and a smile that would light up any room. His thoughtfulness and kindness were unmatched.
Wyatt is survived by his loving parents, Jim and Crystal Carleton, little brother Jacob Carleton, maternal grandparents Michelle and David Cole and paternal grandparents James and Deborah Carleton. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Shannon and Tim Baker, and their two children; uncle and aunt, Matt and Karen Cole, and their four children; aunt and uncle, Sarah and Ray Bailey, and their three children; and so many more extended family and friends.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you to the residents of Andover for their love and support, the first responders on scene the night of the accident; New Hampshire State Police, Andover Police Department and EMS for their courage, dedication and sacrifice for what they do day-to-day.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from 12:00pm-3:00pm, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
