Denise Beverly Grace, age 87, of Salem and formerly of Revere and Chelsea passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 12, 2025 with her daughter by her side. Born on May 20, 1937 in Chelsea, Denise spent her early years there before embarking on a fulfilling life that balanced family and career.
Denise worked as an office manager and bookkeeper for much of her professional life. She found joy in her work but was happiest when surrounded by her family or enjoying the serenity of the beach. Her warmth and love left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Leslie Frederick and her husband Robert, and David Grace and his wife Cory. She was the oving grandmother and great grandmother of Rachel Dube, Michael Frederick, Allyson Grace, Erika Grace, Brian Grace, Alexis Urrata, Enisa Kahriman, Blys Grace, and Hudson Dube. Denise was predeceased by her parents Robert and Mildred Wolfson; her sister Rowena Finn; and her beloved son Richard Grace.
Funeral services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Chelsea on Friday, January 17 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Memorial observance at her late residence, 65 Weatherly Drive, Salem, on Sunday, January 19 from 1-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
