TEWKSBURY - Theresa A. “Terry” Paiva, age 75, an active member of Tewksbury’s Senior
community, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 5, at her home.
She was born in Cambridge, on June 7, 1931, a daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa
(Rotunda) Taurisano, but had lived in Tewksbury for the past four decades.
She worked an assembly for several computer and electronic manufacturing companies including
Inforex Co.
She was a communicant of St. William’s Church, an active member of the Tewksbury Senior
community, and was recalled by friends as having devoted her life to her special son, Jimmy.
She is survived by one son, James Paiva of Lowell; one sister, Nancy Gardner of Center
Barnstead, NH; and numerous nieces , nephews, dear friends and neighbors.
She was also the sister of the late Joseph, Rocco, Michael, and Anthony Taurisano, Rose Russo,
and Jennie Martino.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Aug. 11, in St. William’s Church,
followed by burial in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the
Tewksbury Senior Drop-In Center, Building Fund, 175 Chandler St., Tewksbury, A 01876 will be
appreciated.
