Randall K. Berkebile

Randall "Randy" K. Berkebile, 76, of Anderson died January 12, 2025 at his residence after an illness.
He was born October 4, 1948 in Anderson, the son of Roy "Pete" and Mattie (Donovan) Berkebile. He was a police officer for Anderson Police Department for 25 years; was a sheriff' for Madison County Sheriff's Department; was a policeman for Anderson University; and a Marshall for the town of Lapel. He was a past director of Emergency Management.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela (Mark) Crane of Fishers; two sons, Marshall (Lindsey) Berkebile of New Palestine, and Cory (Amanda) Berkebile of Anderson; two brothers, Steve Berkebile and Karl Berkebile, both of Anderson; 11 grandchildren, Kimberly Boyd, Tyler Crane, Megan Crane, Jessie Crane, Elizabeth Berkebile, Connor Berkebile, Wyatt Berkebile, Matthew Berkebile, Allyson Berkebile, Olivia Berkebile and Jeremy Berkebile; and several nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Chaplain Mike Almack of the Sheriff's Department and Pastor Gary McCaslin officiating. Burial will follow in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.
Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Indiana Law Enforcement Memorial.
