
Adrien L. Petrin Sr.
GOFFSTOWN-Adrien L. Petrin Sr., 86 of Goffstown, passed away August 6, 2006 at the Villa Crest Health Care, in Manchester after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on May 25, 1920 the son of Arthur E. and Ida (Toussaint) Petrin. He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School in 1938. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Belgium and was a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars , the Disabled American Veterans, past president of the Catholic War Veterans, he was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and previously served as Grand Knight.. He lived most of his life in Goffstown and returned after a 10 year stay in Tampa, FL. He had been a member of St. Edmond Parish and more recently St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown.
Prior to his retirement he had been an electrical contractor.
Members of his family include his loving wife of 60 years, Pauline (Chatel) Petrin of Goffstown, 4 children, Elaine Kulski of Jacksonville, NC, Adrien Petrin, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Andre Petrin of Goffstown and Jacqueline Fillmore of New Boston. 8 grandchildren, one greatgrandson. He also had 3 sisters, Yvette Petrin and Stella Descheneaux of Manchester and Gloria Brodeur of Springfield, MA, several nieces, and nephews.
IN HIS LIFE: He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Laurent Petrin and Paul Petrin.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am in St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Maiden-Petrin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
