Jean “Lorraine” Dillon took her last breath on January 5, 2025 at 2:50 PM.
She was born on September 3, 1934 to Francis and Arlene Marchand in Lowell, MA
She was the widow of Edward Timothy Dillon Sr. who passed away in 1990.
She is survived by one daughter: Kathy Dombrowski of Leominster, MA and four sons: Edward T Dillon Jr. and his wife Marlene of Bradenton, FL, Michael Dillon and his wife Cathie of Lowell, MA, Gary Dillon and Beverly Nunan of Tyngsboro, MA and Thomas Dillon and his wife Sherrol of Rindge, NH. One daughter in-law, Laverne Deschner-Dillon of Flagstaff, AZ.
She also leaves 16 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and was grandmother to Edward "Teddy" Dillon III who passed away in 2012.
Lorraine is also survived by her sister Carol Provost and husband James of Conyers, GA, a brother John Marchand and his wife Jeanne of Dracut, MA and many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine leaves behind her dear friend Barbara McQuaide of Lowell.
Lorraine was also predeceased by her daughter Maureen Godfroy, son Brian Patrick Dillon and daughter Judith Ellen Hitchmoth, daughter in-law Jennifer L. Carver Dillon and brothers Robert Marchand and Paul Marchand.
Lorraine was a 1952 graduate of Lowell High School and had an associate's degree in accounting from Newbury College. She worked for Computer Vision, Burlington and MACOM of Lowell in the past.
There will be no calling hours and burial will be private. A Mass will be celebrated in Lorraine's name at St. Margaret Church, Lowell on January 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in Lorraine's name may be made to D'Youville Senior Care, 981 Varnum Ave, Lowell, MA.
