LIMINGTON- Theodore Mowatt Jr., 68, passed away on January 6, 2025. He was born on August 19, 1956, in Westbrook, Maine. After high school, Ted proudly served in the Army until he was 23 years old. Growing up, he cherished moments spent with his best friend and cousin, David Mowatt. Ted had a deep love for rock music, enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling, and was an avid sports fan, especially football, supporting his favorite team, the NY Jets.
Ted was the son of the late Theodore Mowatt Sr. and Betty Mowatt. He is survived by his two children, Tina Peacock and Theodore Mowatt III, as well as his grandchildren, Cash Mowatt and Jazmyne Mowatt. He is also survived by his siblings, Russell Mowatt, Bruce Mowatt, and Robyn Gordon. Known for his sarcastic sense of humor, he had a knack for making people smile and laugh wherever he went.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday Jan. 23rd from 4 -5 PM at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish, followed by a funeral service at 5 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private in the spring at Forest Hills Cemetery in Bridgton.
