Rickey “Rick” Walter Goss, 65, of Marion Center, PA passed away at his home on Saturday, January 11, 2025 surrounded by his family.
The son of Valgene E. and Eleanor J. (Sebring) Goss, he was born on May 20, 1959 in Spangler, PA.
Rick married Patricia “Pat” Friedline on April 8, 1978 and they have shared over forty-six years of marriage together.
He had worked as diesel mechanic. Rick enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, like spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. Two of his favorite activities was watching his grandkids participate in sporting events and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Goss of Marion Center, PA; his four children: David Goss of Marion Center, PA; Brandi Lydic and husband Michael of Glen Campbell, PA; Christopher Goss and wife Kristie of Commodore, PA and Gregory Goss and husband Brandon Owens of Clearfield, PA; and his five grandchildren: Brant Lydic and fiancé Brooklyn; Hunter Lydic and wife Lauren; Aubree Goss; Marissa Lydic and Landon Goss.
Also surviving are his three brothers: Terry Goss and wife JoAnn of Marion Center, PA; Montey Goss and wife GeGe of Cherry Tree, PA and Marty Goss and wife Traci of Marion Center, PA; sister-in-law, Deborah Goss of Marion Center, PA; special family friend, Edwin Anderson of Glen Campbell, PA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Don Goss and his two sisters: Cindy Goss and Cathy Peles.
Family and friends will be received from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 and again from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA, where an 11:00 a.m. funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Pastor Darl Dishong will officiate. Interment will be at Rowley Cemetery in Hillsdale, PA.
