Pellagrini, Thelma M. (Occhiolini) Age 91, passed away peacefully on January 9th. She was born and raised in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, and resided in Hyde Park, Wellesley, and Yarmouthport over the course of her long life. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Albert Pellagrini and her 4 siblings: Agatha Hurd, Caesar Occhiolini, Richard Occhiolini and Teresa Occhiolini. She is survived by her three children: Linda Pellagrini of Brooklyn, NY, Richard Pellagrini of Medford, MA, and Diane Pellagrini (Dan McCarthy) of Watertown, MA. She enjoyed the love of her five grandchildren: Anthony, Nicholas, and Ava Pellagrini and Owen and Ella McCarthy. Thelma was an aunt, cousin and friend to many. She was an administrative assistant at various institutions over the years and enjoyed her time in the History Dept at Wellesley College the most before officially retiring after 17 years. She was a lover of classic movies, Brazilian music, jazz vocal standards, gardening, Native American culture, delicious foods, and the beaches of Cape Cod. Her greatest joy, however, was found at the dining room table, at a meal she prepared, surrounded by the laughter and love of her husband, her children and her grandchildren. At family gatherings and always, we will keep her memory in our hearts.
