Brenda L.M. (DeSilva) Borges, 65, of Westport, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
Born in Fall River, she was daughter of Matilda (Vivieros) DeSilva and the late Edward DeSilva. She had worked at Titleist Acushnet Co. for over 20 years. A loving mother, dedicated daughter and helpful friend who especially loved spending time with her family. Brenda enjoyed shopping, her animals, music and family gatherings. She will always be remembered as hospitable, generous, thoughtful and having a great sense of humor.
Including her mother, survivors include a son: Andrew R. Morse and his wife Amy of Westport; a daughter: Rebecca Cothran and her husband Michael of AL; a brother: Manuel V. DeSilva of Westport; a sister: Debra T. Maltais of Westport; 4 grandchildren: Zoe, Savanah, Reagan and Kaylee; and several nieces and nephews.
