Sherry Regina Pinion Pearson, 71, of Enigma passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Pearson will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born August 16, 1953, in Adel (Cook County), Mrs. Pearson was the daughter of Nadavah Imogene Baldree Flanders of Douglas and the late John Avery Pinion. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wendell “Gary” Pearson; two sons, Richard Scott "Scotty" Flanders and Gary Chance Pearson; two brothers, Johnny Flanders and Ronnie Flanders; one sister, Florence Rutland; and one grandchild, Riley Bankston. She was a waitress at Golden Corral; and she was of the Baptist faith. She loved her kids and grandkids; she loved going to the beach; and she loved sitting on the porch reading a good book.
Mrs. Pearson is survived by five daughters, Angela Dawn Flanders of Adel, Georgie Regina Pearson of Tifton, Sara Brandy Pearson and Jodi Nadavah Pearson (Jason Bankston), all of Atlanta and Kelley Corine Brewer (Kenneth) of Ray City; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Hollis and Jimmie Lou Flanders of Tifton and Donnie Flanders of Satsuma, Florida; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jean Pafford of Thomasville, Ann and Jim Taylor of Adel, Cynthia Edens of Douglas and Penny and Robert Cooper of Satsuma, Florida; fourteen grandchildren, Danielle Watson and Tanner Watson, both of Adel, Austin Manning, Kamden Brewer and Harleigh Wetherington, all of Ray City, Kyle Brewer (Lynsey), Cassidy Brewer, Bradley Sutton and Erica Flancher, all of Tifton, Sevehn Pearson, Jason Bankston, Paige Bankston, Emily Bankston and Gabe Bankston, all of Atlanta; and four great-grandchildren, Karmyn Sutton, Raylee Sutton, Kayde Brewer and Lainey Mae Brewer.
