Morton Padulsky peacefully passed away on December 30, 2024. He lived a life of service, from his years as a Marine to his roles as a court officer at Suffolk Superior and mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. Known for his tireless work ethic and his incredible gift for storytelling, Morton shared stories that could make you laugh, think, and feel connected to a life well-lived.
Known by family and close friends as “Mort the Sport”, Morton was deeply involved in his community. He volunteered his time to start a basketball clinic at Chelsea High School, served as president of the Jewish War Veterans, volunteered in the Israeli Army, was a member of the Knights of Pythias, was involved in local politics and was an active member of Temple Emmanuel in Chelsea. Through his example, he taught his children the value of education, homeownership, and lifelong skills such as swimming. Most importantly, he showed them how to enjoy life.
He was a devoted husband to his wife Sandra for 69 years, a partnership filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. In his free time, Morton enjoyed long walks on Revere Beach, gambling and seeing shows in Las Vegas, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and always looking forward to a good meal.
