It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James “Jim” Daly on December 29, 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 65. Jim was born in Boston, MA.
He was preceded in death by his parents William F. Daly Jr. and Elizabeth Carr Daly of Roslindale, MA. Jim is survived by his brother William Daly of Dedham, MA, his sister Kim Daly of Roslindale, MA, his niece Fallon Daly and nephews Connor Daly and Cody Roccaforte, his beloved dog Jake Francis Daly and a devoted group of friends.
Jim spent his younger years between Roslindale and Marshfield, MA with his grandparents, Albert and Elizabeth Carr. He loved traveling and resided in Florida for many of his adult years. For the past 20 years, as a self-employed individual in the Boston area owning Daly Junk and Snow Removal, he found fulfillment in forging his own path and living life on his own terms.
Though Jim never married, he took immense pride in his family and being a devoted uncle to Fallon, Connor and Cody. He enjoyed spending time camping with them, creating lifelong memories. The casino was another favorite retreat where he found entertainment and camaraderie.
James will be remembered for his love of family, as well as his generosity and helpfulness in the Roslindale Community.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
