Robin Elizabeth Tucker, 60, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Pruitt Health in Ocilla, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM, Friday, January 3, 2025, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, Georgia. Private interment will be held at a later date in Brushy Creek Cemetery, Irwin County.
Robin was born May 27, 1964, in Tifton, Georgia, to the late Robitzsch Ewing and the late Minnie Dayton Merritt Page. She graduated from Irwin County High School, where she was a cheerleader, and later received a Bachelor’s degree from Columbus University. Robin was a social worker and case worker and enjoyed taking care of people at Sunnydale Training Center. She had a passion for caring for the mentally disabled. She loved to cook, enjoyed the beach, deep sea fishing and especially her grandkids. Robin was a very selfless individual. She battled with chronic back and neck pain that which became more acute in her last years. Her family said she was also an extremely resilient individual and a hard worker.
She is survived by her two children: Taylor Tucker and Tate Tucker; two grandchildren: Gracie Thomas and Rhett Thomas; two cousins: Dianne Cleghorn and Jo Windom and an uncle, John Norton.
Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, is in charge of arrangements.
