Lawrence “Larry” Walter Wegrzyn, age 76, passed away on December 24, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born on April 6, 1948 in Westfield, MA, a son of the late Walter Wegryzn and Josephine J. (Minkos) Barna. Larry was a self-employed pool maintenance man for many years. His company, Jolar Pool Services was well known throughout Hampshire County. He enjoyed golf, bowling and fishing. He is survived by two sons, Darrell Wegrzyn of New Port Richie, FL and Randy Wegrzyn and his wife Alla of Naples, FL and two beloved grandchildren, Kayli and Ava. He is predeceased by two brothers, Ronald “Wiggy” Wegrzyn who passed away in 2018 and John J. “Skip” Barna Jr who passed away in 2023. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Friday, January 10, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A service will begin at 11:00 AM followed by burial in St Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee.
