WEBSTER – Eleanor M. (Trojanowski) Brezniak, 72, died Saturday, December 28, 2024 in UMass/Memorial University Campus with family at her side. Her husband of 44 years, Victor A. Brezniak, Jr. died in 2019.
She leaves a son, Gregory A. Brezniak of North Oxford; a daughter, Catherine E. Brezniak of Webster; a sister, Natalie A. Ostrokolowicz, also of Webster; nieces and nephews.
She was born on December 7, 1952, the younger daughter of Walter S. and Josephine (Piechota) Trojanowski and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1970. She studied at the Framingham School of Nursing for 3 years, completing the studies to become a registered nurse.
Mrs. Brezniak worked at UMass/Memorial Belmont Street campus for over 40 years before retiring at the end of 2018.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica and along with her husband volunteered at the annual church festival for many years. She liked gardening, going on shopping trips and to concerts, and an occasional visit to the casino.
Her funeral will be held Friday, January 3, from the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
