Linda “Lynda” Anderson, 77, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly at Community Hospital in Anderson on December 26, 2024.
She was born on June 16, 1947 in Ridgley, Tennessee the daughter of Nathan and Mabel ( Terry) Riley. She was employed by the State of Indiana Health Department for several years. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and watching them participate in their sporting events. She loved flowers, plants and bird watching, especially for cardinals.
Linda is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas L. Anderson; her sons, Kip (Tricia) Anderson and Andrew (Hannah) Anderson; grandchildren, Hailey, Matt, Kate, Asa, and Willa; step children Tom (Connie) Anderson Jr and Tiffany (Travis) Wilkins and their families; siblings, Jerry Riley and Jan Dallas; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Chad in 2019.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 1 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will also be held on Friday from 11 AM until the service at 1PM at the funeral home.
