MOOSUP, CT – Darlene T. (Watson) Robinson, 64, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at home after a long illness.
She leaves a son, Robert G. Larochelle of Danielson; a daughter, Rebecca A. Santerre and her husband Zachary of Plainfield; a granddaughter, Mariah Kennedy; 2 brothers, Thomas F. Watson III of Webster, MA and Daniel F. Watson of Worcester, MA; 2 sisters, Cheryl P. Kuchachik and her husband John of Webster, MA and Jeanne Nalewajk and her husband Bruce of Harrisburg, NC; her friend and caregiver, Andrew Hansen; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Mark A. Watson in 2003 and by a sister Christine L. Watson last October. She also leaves her beloved dogs Midnight and Honey.
She was born on December 3, 1960 in Worcester, MA, a daughter of Thomas F. Watson II and Jean M. (Denham) Watson. She moved to Webster, MA in the late 1960’s. She lived in Dayville for several years and in Moosup since 2014.
Darlene worked in the laundry department at the former Westcott Care Center in Danielson before retiring due to illness.
She enjoyed diamond art, going to the beach and, in her younger years, kayaking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter Mariah.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster, MA with a service at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
