Linda “Gayle” Gann Norman, 77, of Enigma, formerly of Tifton, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at her residence. A private family graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Norman at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2024, at Old Ty Ty Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Chip Grantham will officiate.
Born September 25, 1947, in Tifton, Mrs. Norman was the daughter of the late Eldo Washington Gann and Winnie Lucille Newell Gann. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Hilton Gann and Robert Gann; and one sister, Barbara Goins. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Tifton. She loved to read, do puzzles; and she loved music and was a true Elvis fan.
Mrs. Norman is survived by her husband, Jimmie Hubert Norman of Enigma; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Candice and Rick Maluda of Enigma, Paige and Dennis McAllister of Dublin and Melissa Norman of Enigma; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Marie Gann of Tifton; one sister, Jo Ann Baird of Groveland, Florida; five grandchildren, Noal Malcom of Atlanta, Mitchell Maluda and Alexandria Maluda, both of Enigma, Brandon McAllister and his wife Abby of Dublin and Chance McAllister of Madison; and four great-grandchildren.
