Pamela M. Murphy 1947-2024
Pamela M. (Keen) Murphy, 77, of Malden passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 21, 2024.
She was born in Malden and was the loving daughter of the late Delbert and Miriam (Richards) Keen. Pam grew up in Medford and most recently resided in Stoneham.
She was a devoted Mother of three children and a Grandmother to five Grandchildren whom she adored. She loved spending time with them and keeping involved in their activities which included attending recitals, sports events and even a story or two.
Pam had a talent for drawing, cooking, and photography. Music, dancing, and reading were among her other pleasures. Anyone that knew her was privy to her organization skills at home and at work. She was thoughtful and kind, loved to hear laughter and would go out of her way to help family and friends. Pam only saw the best in everyone. She was a wonderful person who was called home too soon for those of us she left behind.
She is survived by her sons Frederick Murphy and wife Betsy of Wilmington, grandchildren Ryan and Emily; Paul Murphy and wife Amy of Weymouth , grandchildren Julia and Josh; her daughter Pamela (Murphy) Pollack and husband William of Stoneham, granddaughter Riley. Pam was one of six children and is survived by her brother and sisters; Miriam Smyrnios of Florida, Delbert Keen and wife Terry of Maine, Beverly Hupfer and husband William of Malden. She was also the sister of the late Sylvia Siljestrom of Florida, and Kenneth Higgins of Chelsea.
Pam also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, friends and relatives.
She will truly be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial service at the Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 4:00-5:30pm.
