SPRINGFIELD - Linda J. (Kutzler) Vine, 73, of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, December 19, 2024. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Easton, Pennsylvania on November 15, 1951, a beloved daughter of the late Floyd Robert Kutzler, Sr. and Shirley May (Slack) Kutzler. She was raised in New Village, New Jersey and later lived in Chicopee before moving to Springfield. She was employed as a manager at the former Shoe-Town in New Jersey and Springfield and later was a manager at the former Payless Shoe Store in Enfield. During her leisure time, Linda enjoyed cruising in the Caribbean, Bermuda, Nassau, Saint Thomas, Grenada and other exotic warm places. She also enjoyed the beaches at Cape Cod and especially loved being close to the ocean. Most of all, she loved her family and her many friends. She leaves her beloved husband, soul mate and best friend, Michael C. Vine, Sr. They were married in Stewartsville, New Jersey on May 16, 1969 and were blessed with over 55 years of happiness together. She also leaves her four loving and devoted children, Michael C. Vine, Jr. of Chicopee, Tricia A. Vine of Springfield, Michele L. Labbe and her husband, Glen, of Granby, and Jeremy A. Vine and his wife, Janet, of Warren; her 15 cherished grandchildren; her 14 cherished great-grandchildren; her four dear siblings, Floyd Kutzler, Jr. and his wife, Pam, of Phillipsburg, NJ, Ricky Kutzler and his wife, Tracy, of Port St. Lucie, FL, Beverly Hudak and her husband, John, of Bloomsbury, NJ, and Jeanne Christine and her husband, William, of Northampton, PA; her dear sister-in-law, Jean Kutzler of Saylorsburg, PA; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family members. Beside her parents, she was also predeceased by her dear brother, Ronald Kutzler. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Evangel Assembly of God, 348 Stony Hill Road, Wilbraham, MA 01095.
