Cassandra “Sandi” Ann Morgan Pilcher, 50, of Ocilla passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Waterloo Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Pangle officiating. Sandi will be laid to rest at Waterloo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Sandi will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mike Patten, Chad Branch, Bryan Walker, Jason Cook, Cam Morgan and Luke Morgan will serve as pallbearers.
Born September 16, 1974, in Tift County, Sandi was the daughter of Barbara Ann Freeman Morgan of Ocilla and the late Randy Morgan. She graduated from Irwin County High School and was an Irwin County Indian. She also graduated from Thomas Technical College. She was a self-employed floral designer, and a member of Waterloo Baptist Church, to which she was very dedicated.
Sandi dearly loved her family, especially her nephews and nieces and she worshipped her grandchildren. She was full of life and love for everybody. She loved sports and was very involved in her son’s athletics and coached various local sports teams.
In addition to her mother, Sandi is survived by her husband, Al Pilcher of Ocilla; two sons, Seth Pilcher (Jordan Folsom) and Shaw Pilcher (Paulyna), all of Ocilla; one brother and sister-in-law. Allen and Rose Morgan of Decatur, Alabama; two grandchildren, Harlynn Pilcher and Memphis Pilcher; two nephews, Cam Morgan and Luke Morgan; and one niece, Lizzie Morgan.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial gifts may be made to Waterloo Baptist Church, 124 Waterloo Church Lane, Chula, GA 31733.
