Cordell Vanice Westly Lewis (37) of East Bridgewater passed away on December 21st.
He was born in Boston, the son of Ernest West of Ohio and Valencia Pina of Abington. Cordell worked for the United Rental Company in the Sales Department and was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. He was a 2005 graduate of Avon High School and enjoyed watching sports especially his son’s games, cooking, and socializing with his family and friends. Cordell loved his dogs, was known as a giver to all, and for his extremely great heart.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancee Marissa Barboza, his son Cordell Lewis Jr. (CJ) of East Bridgewater, his stepchildren, Elijah and Rae, his brother K’Mani West of Ohio, his sister Treashur Perry of Virginia, Maternal Grandfather Roosevelt Lewis and wife Juanita of Florida, (the late maternal grandmother Judy Lewis), Paternal Grandmother Frances Harris of Ohio, (the late paternal grandfather Columbus West), his god children, Florence and Ja’Leya, and many cousins.
Visitation in the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 452 Main Street Brockton Friday January 3, 2025 from 5-7 pm.
Funeral Services in the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 452 Main Street Brockton Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 9 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
