Marcia Carfagno, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, at the age of 85 after a brief illness. Born in Boston, Marcia was a longtime resident of Brockton and a devoted communicant of St. Ann’s Church in West Bridgewater.
Marcia took pleasure in cooking for others and sharing her recipes. She enjoyed watching classic westerns, playing bingo, and traveling to casinos. She loved visiting the canal, camping, and eating seafood with her family.
Marcia was the cherished wife of Charles A. Carfagno of Brockton. She leaves behind a loving family, including her three sons: Robert Folsom of Brockton, Dennis Folsom and his wife Lori Shaw of Bridgewater, and Marc Folsom of New Hampshire. She was also mother to the late Valerie Oakhem, who she loved and missed dearly.
Known as “Nanny”, Marcia was a devoted grandmother to five grandchildren: Evan, Erika, Thomas, Samantha and Michael, and a proud great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren: Miles, John, Jenna, Kevin, Haley, and Christian. Her love and guidance will remain in their hearts forever.
Marcia will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Services will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Monday December 30th at 8:30 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, 103 N Main Street West Bridgewater at 11 am. Burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, 483 N Main Street West Bridgewater.
