LACONIA ---- Leah M. Plant, 53, of Mile Hill Road, passed away at home surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, December 21, 2024.
Leah was born on March 23, 1971 in Plymouth, NH the daughter of Leo Plant and Barbara (Avery) Ricker.
Leah lived in the Lakes Region her entire life and served her community through her business Dragonfly Cleaning. She enjoyed “Jeeping,” and her favorite place to be was in the sun, especially on the beach. She was an animal lover and had many “fur-babies” over her life. She very much enjoyed being a fun “Meeps” to her “Grandunits” and had many adventures and sleep-overs with them. She became a born-again Christian in 2021 and loved her church family.
Leah was always ready for an adventure. She was a lover of life and lover of people and she will be sorely missed by many.
Leah is survived by her mother, her sister Denise Plant, her daughter Kassandra McCrea and her “Grandunits” Rebecca and Spencer. She was predeceased by her father.
Services will be held at Faith Alive Church, 72 Primrose Drive, Laconia, NH on Saturday, January 4, 2025, from 1:00pm-4:00pm. There will be refreshments and time for fellowship following the service.
