Albert A. Ferrari, age 81, of Wilmington formerly of Burlington, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. Born in Somerville he was the beloved son of the late Albert E. and Louise M. (Anthony) Ferrari.
Albert was raised in Burlington and was very musically inclined from a young age. He played the accordion and the drums and also loved to dance. A very social person, Albert enjoyed interacting with others and especially enjoyed volunteer work helping the elderly. His family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff and care takers of NuPath for the love and compassion given in caring for Albert in his group home for many years.
Albert is survived by his cherished sister, Celeste L. Carnevale of Wilmington. He was the loving uncle of Dina L. Carnevale and Anthony Picierello Jr. of Nahant, and Lisa L. Thompson and her husband Cliff of California as well as their children Ava and Joshua.
A funeral service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday, December 27th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will conclude with burial at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Albert's memory to NuPath, Inc. 147 New Boston Street, Woburn, MA 01801.
