Robert Muchata, 70, of Derry, NH, passed away on Tuesday December 17, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 19, 1954, in Cambridge, MA, a son of the late Robert and Rose (Killion) Muchata. He was a dedicated, loyal and hardworking man that always put the needs of his family above his own. He loved fishing, his vegetable garden and country music. He also loved spending time grilling for cookouts and playing the family game Zappo.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Sherry (Martin) Muchata of Derry; daughter Danielle Muchata and her husband Jason Turgeon; daughter Shana Muchata; son Bobby Muchata and son Christopher Muchata and wife Mary Muchata; grandchildren Jordan, Jaidah, Sean, Brody, Justin, Hanna and Caden; his sister Linda Bacci and husband John Bacci; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 3 - 5 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry with cremation to follow. A memorial service will be held after the holidays. Please check back for more details.
