Leslie (Nutter) Prario, 82, of Hanson passed away peacefully on December 15th with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Quincy, MA on October 4th, 1942 and moved to Hanson at a young age when her parents opened the Hanson Veterinary Hospital on Main St. She and her husband Clayton, of 64 years raised two boys in Hanson.
As an avid reader, there was always an open book in her hands. She worked as a librarian before moving into the computer IT field where she retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston after a 20-year career. During retirement, she volunteered at the Hanson Library and the Food Pantry, enjoyed New England travel, several European holidays, and cherished time with her family.
Leslie is survived by her husband Clayton, her son Troy (Lauren) of Wilton, Connecticut, and her son Todd of Hanson. She is also survived by her sister Karen (Charlie) Senechal of New Mexico, her brother Rob (Jean) Nutter of Florida, her sister-in-law Karen Baker of Connecticut, her grandchildren Austin, Derek, Monica, and Michelle, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Janet (Deacon) Nutter and her brother-in-law Bruce Baker.
Leslie's warmth, dedication, and love for her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A private service will be held at a later date.
